According to this week's Third Sector magazine, the Conservative Party will launch a social networking site later this year.
The magazine reports that the as yet unamed site will allow users to engage with - and help develop -Tory policies on issues such as poverty, climate change and volunteering.
The site launch will be accompnaied by a (presmuably traditional?) advertising campaign.
Interestingly enough the dead-tree-press can 'network' too. Third Sector got this story off Marketing... and credited them!
That's hardly surprising Third Sector credited Marketing- they are part of the same company! This story is slightly old to say the least....

Thanks for your comments, Ben.
I wasn't suggesting it's surprising TS credited M, but making a reference to print media building networks (sort of!).
The story may be old, but I hadn't heard of it until I saw it in this week' TS.
