I have recently spent 5 months and £4m on rebranding this blog and the experts at brand and synergetic life alliances consultancy, RE.Brandt, decided I should add the "..." to Simonsays.
I also got my good friend John Tudor from Leeds-based John Tudor Photography to do me a nice pic and design a new banner. He charged me a lot less than £4m.
Although it seems that everyone is on holiday at the moment, any comments on whether the re-design is a success or failure are welcome. In fact any comments at all, apart from spam obviously!
Thanks John!
I assumed you had been on 'Pimp my Blog'...

Hi Simon,
I'm looking at your site in Firefox today - am was really struggling to know what you're talking about! Having cleared the browser cache your site's still yellow and green, but with sidebars swapped and your old pic missing! Maybe a typepad problem showing an old stylesheet to Firefox?
However looking at it in IE7 RC1 your post now makes sense. I really like the pic, and particularly the clean white layout. But then you could probably guess my preference for white-based layouts from my site.
cheers

It's a clean, green blogging machine! Love the redesign and hope the content continues to be as passionate and opinionated as before.

I would say it was a really good job but unfortunately I am on holiday.
Well done, Simon. Perhaps I ought to do the revamp of Mediations I have been promising myself for two years. I was thinking about green and yellow, that would really stand out...

Even at less than 4m it looks really good!

Thanks for your all your comments. I agree it is a much better design and I can't think why I didn't get the old one sorted sooner!
I had the same problem with chached versions of the site. Typepad's advice was ctrl + F5 hard refresh.

You could be onto something ("Pimp My Blog" - Alexandra Pullin 30.6.06). "Changing Blogs" anyone? "I'm a Blogger - Get Me Out Of Here"???
