Like Antony Mayfield I fired off an email to Danny Rogers at PR Week UK. I was pleased and flattered by his response... namely that he has heard of this blog and has paid visits in the past.
He also reassures me that:
"we [PR Week] spend a great deal of time consuming, thinking about and working on ideas for new media."
This is good news... but I was a little perplexed by Danny's closing comment that he's "still mystified" by people opting for PR Business over PR Week. Hmmm. I think my previous reviews touched on that one, as did my post earlier today.
Still, we'll wait and see what happens... especially now Antony says PR Business's website will be up and running shortly - which will be about two months late!
He should have posted it as a comment in your original post though. Come on Danny, join the conversation. :-)
Are you entirely sure you're not trying to cause trouble between PR Week and PR Business Simon? One begins to wonder. :-)

Ha! Are you sure you're not trying to stir up etc etc etc... Stephen?
I am honestly not trying to cause trouble between the two mags. I reviewed them fairly and have applauded a rather insightful PR Week editorial while criticising PR Biz for having a naff holding site that glaringly announces the fact it is two months out of date.
I suppose it is currently a case of the new, less well established mag that can respond to feedback quicker than an established mag which is part of a huge media institution can.
But you're right about Danny needing to join the conversation -but to be fair I probably tackled him by email before he had a chance to respond.
