I have always read Philip Young's Mediations blog with great interest, especially his posts on transparency and now the issue of synthetic transparency.
I am a firm believer in using PR for positive purposes (hence my background in the voluntary sector!)and ensuring ethics are an important part of a firm/organisation's tool-kit.
Philip's posts have had me thinking about PR and ethics and on a wider scale, the position/value of truth in PR and recently I started to put some ideas together on the subject.
The Portland story (see below) has really got me thinking and as such I will hopefully be able to commit my extended thoughts to a post. Watch this space...
